Maritime Countryfest is an All Ages Event/Accessible to all!

What does ‘open-air’ mean?

An ‘open-air’ festival means the festival grounds are not tented. If it rains, the show(s) will go on. There will only be a postponement or cancellation should a safety concern arise. We might get wet, but we’re still going to have fun!

Is there seating?

The concert grounds offer limited bleacher style seating along with picnic tables & park benches throughout the grounds that guests are welcome to use.  For safety reasons, patrons are not permitted to bring chairs on to the festival grounds.  If for some reason you require a seat & cannot find a spot to rest, be sure to ask one of our volunteers and they will be happy to find you a spot and even provide the chair!

*New for 2015: Along with the above, the new VIP area (sold out) offers seating for over 400 patrons.  We are also adding smaller sets of bleachers scattered around the grounds.  This increases our overall seating from 400 in the past,  to over 1000!

Can I pay for items with debit or credit during the festival?

While there will be at least one ATM on site, MCF encourages patrons to bring cash with them for the purchase of food & beverage as well as any artist merchandise.  Items like pop & water are $2 each and beer/single mixed drinks are $5 each ($10 for a double).

*For those looking to buy tickets at the gate day of show – cash only please ($95 tax incl).

Are their food vendors on site?

Food vendors on site will prepare and serve a variety of items (including non-alcoholic beverages).  Approx. meal cost: $7-$10/person including drink.

Is there an age restriction for patrons?

MCF is an all ages event however those under 19 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  All patrons require a ticket/pass regardless of their age.  All patrons are encouraged to have photo ID on their person.

Is the event licensed?

Maritime Countryfest is a licensed event. For those looking to partake, please remember to bring your government issued photo ID…you can’t consume alcohol without it!

(Legal drinking age in the Province of NB is 19)

Is there first aid on site?

Yes. We are proud to offer on-site first aid providers throughout the entire festival.

Is the event wheel-chair accessible?

Yes. While maneuverability is a bit tough in a few spots, we have worked hard to offer those who require, a private (ramped) deck under a big shaded tree. Accessible portable toilets are also in close proximity to this area.

Can I leave the concert grounds and then come back later?

No.  Once you are on the festival grounds you are in.  So, come prepared to have a blast and stay for the day!

*Note your ticket grants you entry to event and can only be scanned once.

Can I smoke there?

Since the event is ‘outside’ you may smoke cigarettes in open (uncovered) areas but please, please, please be respectful of those who do not smoke.

*It is preferred that you not smoke directly in front of the stage, highly populated areas (such as the bar) or in the food vendor area. Smoking is not permitted inside ANY tent(s).

I lost my ticket (pass), what do I do?

MCF is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, passes and/or wristbands. Anyone on site without the proper credentials will be removed. Also know that your admittance bracelet for the VIP area becomes null & void should it be removed or appear tampered with.

*Note your ticket grants you entry to event and can only be scanned once.

What are the washroom facilities like?

We take great pride in providing plenty of clean portable toilets and hand-washing stations. Officers’ Square does have public plumbed washroom facilities for those who don’t mind waiting in line.

Is there security on site?

Yes. Not only during the festival but 24/7 from set-up through tear down. If you like to feel safe and secure while having lots of fun, this is the place to be!

All who enter the concert grounds are subject to searches for weapons, contraband, professional cameras, video equipment and recording devices.  If forbidden items are found, they will be confiscated.
